Roaming the streets of Odessa city – one of the most beautiful cities I’ve seen in my life – proved no less exciting than the anticipation of the trip itself. For me, an ardent city life lover, a week-long stay was supposed to be more than just a seven-day excursion tour around Odessa, although even that would be a great thing. During the first hour of my first day in the Southern Palmira, my only concern was how to rent apartment in Odessa. Thanks to my freelance translator’s way of life and my laptop that had become my eternal companion in all trips and adventures since I had gotten a layoff, it took me but a few minutes of browsing to find an affordable option. Moments later, that was it for my concern. All I had to do was get to the place, get my bag off from my shoulders and move on. Strangely enough, I didn’t even feel tired after 24 hours in a train!
